EVO’s Before and After School Program provides academic enrichment, homework support, positive conflict resolution training and a caring staff. Confidence and attitudes toward schoolwork improve as children are surrounded by positive role models and peers.
EVO's Before and After School Program is offered throughout the school year at our activity center. The program is in its 22nd year this fall, 2025. It is 3-4 hours daily, Monday through Friday, with a focus on healthy eating, exercise, and academics, while specifically offering support in math, reading, and writing skills. Children receive instruction throughout the afternoons while building strong mentoring relationships.
We have the Pittsburgh Public Direct-After School Provider approval and age appropriate Classroom Center facilities. This means that personal educational plans are comprised for each child attending. The school, state, and the home give input into this process.
In addition to serving children at Pittsburgh Arsenal, Woolslair, Sunnyside, Fulton, Dilworth, Montessori, Liberty, and Sacred Heart, we'll be going to Lincoln and Obama this year.

EVO has begun to serve 'hot meals' to After-School Programs free of charge throughout the school year. These meals guarantee that all children will have 3 healthy meals daily, ensuring that the children are not going home hungry at the end of the day.
If you are an After-School Program that would be interested in receiving a free, hot, home-made meal for your children, please reach out. earthenvessels98@gmail.com
