What are you doing this summer? If you want your child to have fun, meets lots of new friends, and participate in art and sports activities in a safe and nurturing environment, register them for the Earthen Vessels Outreach Summer Day Camp 2007!

This six-week day camp begins just after the school year is completed, from June 16th - July 26th. Families and friends are invited to attend the final program on Saturday July 26th at 5:00 PM. The camp site is located in the Friendship-Bloomfield area, easily accessible to the surrounding neighborhoods of Friendship, Bloomfield, Garfield, Lawrenceville and East Liberty. Last year, over 80 children were enrolled in the camp.

A typical day at the camp runs from 8:30 A.M. to 3:15 P.M., and includes the following activities:

• Breakfast
• Opening program (songs, skit)
• Educational time
• Bible lessons
• Lunch
• Arts and crafts
• Recreation time
• Hang-out time
• Youth Enrichment Classes (Guest Speakers, Art Education, soccer, tennis, swimming)
• Weekly field trips to exciting places in the city!

Registration
The cost for six weeks is determined by a sliding scale ranging from $300-$120. We offer scholarships for each child as follows:

• Minus $30 for early registration before May 31st

• Minus $50 if the child lives within 2 miles of the camp site
• Minus $50 for previous campers or enrolling more than one child
• Minus $50 if child is a participant in Seeds of Hope or EVO year-round programs (After-school, TGIF Kidz Camp, Saturday evening church services)

Families may pre-register with a deposit of $50. Enrollment will be based on a first come first serve basis. Complete registration will occur at 7 P.M. Friday, June 15th and 11 A.M. Saturday, June 16th. Click here to download a registration form.

Parents or guardians must attend one of these scheduled registrations in order to complete the sign-up process. Proof of your child's age is required (birth certificate or other verification).

When the camp enrollment has peaked at 70 children, there will be a waiting list for any child still wanting to sign up.
