Structured recreational events are an important part of EVO activities, especially during our Summer Day Camp! The children are frequently engaged in games including soccer, basketball, kickball, 4-square, and tennis.

Children participate in weekly summer camp field trips and occasional field trips throughout the school year. These exciting field trips give the children and youth an exposure to different cultural situations that expand, balance, and broaden their world view. Earthen Vessels Outreach is a member of Ticket-for-Kids, a non-profit agency that offers free tickets for many of the events in Pittsburgh.

Previous field trips that have occured include Pittsburgh Pirates games, roller skating, ice skating, movies, cultural plays, the Symphony, Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh Zoo, local college basketball games (male and female), Pittsburgh Center for Play, Penguins hockey games, and the Pittsburgh Children's Museum.
