The ArcAngels - A High School Boys' Basketball Team plays in the Urban Impact Fall Basketball Program. The youth practice during the week and play organized games on Saturday mornings against other teams throughout the city during the fall season. Most of the youth involved on this team do not participate in any organized sport, therefore, they learn team dynamics, leadership, time management responsibility and respect toward one another and others. This program offers year around support for school, employment and personal mentoring. It serves 12-15 players.

A Middle School Youth Basketball League was created by EVO to serve the younger urban youth throughout Pittsburgh. There are over 75 youth being given the opportunity to play winter basketball during the months of January, February and March totaling at least 6 teams from different youth development organizations (each with a minimum of 8-10 players). The youth practice throughout the week and play organized games on Saturday mornings. They are taught positive social skills, team building and positive morality.

This was the first Middle School Youth Basketball Team sponsored by EVO-Seeds of Hope Church during the 2008 winter. We are all eagerly awaiting our next season to start in January 2009. The youth are presently practicing once a week in preparation for the games.
